Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa, Camberley

Our stay was quite frustrating due to significant booking issues and room inadequacies. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the outdoor pool was a highlight, we experienced a lack of communication regarding our reservation and were ultimately transferred to a less desirable sister hotel. The dining left much to be desired, especially with inconsistent service and food quality. Overall, it was not the relaxing retreat we had hoped for.

My stay at the hotel was greatly affected by a series of inconveniences, including a wedding that left the hotel crowded and difficult to navigate. While we eventually received an upgrade to a larger room, it was still shabby and less than ideal. I was disappointed with the food quality and the chaotic atmosphere, which detracted from any chance of relaxation during the visit.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the spa treatments were excellent and the restaurant food was delicious, the accommodations were a bit disappointing with signs of wear and tear. The beautiful grounds added charm, but overall the hotel could definitely benefit from some upgrades.

The room we stayed in was nice, though the mattress could definitely be upgraded for better comfort. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of options, and the dinner package provided great value. Overall, the staff were friendly, but more smiles would enhance the experience.

I chose Frimley Hall Hotel for a special occasion, and overall, it delivered a wonderful experience, mainly due to the impressive service and quality food. The private dining setup was lovely, although some facilities could use better maintenance, especially the dining area during breakfast. Despite some minor hiccups, it felt like an excellent value for a special event.
