Our stay was quite frustrating due to significant booking issues and room inadequacies. While the hotel itself is beautiful and the outdoor pool was a highlight, we experienced a lack of communication regarding our reservation and were ultimately transferred to a less desirable sister hotel. The dining left much to be desired, especially with inconsistent service and food quality. Overall, it was not the relaxing retreat we had hoped for.
Rooms

We ended up in a small and shabby room at the sister hotel, which was noisy and lacking basic amenities. It felt very dated and left much to be desired.
Service

The front desk staff was accommodating and did their best to rectify our situation, but there were overall issues with communication that caused a lot of stress.
Location

While the original hotel's setting was beautiful, our ultimate stay was at a sister hotel, which, while adequate, wasn't the relaxing environment we sought.

The dining options were limited, and the food quality at the sister hotel was disappointing, with both the bar meal and breakfast lacking in taste and temperature.
Facilities

My stay at the hotel was greatly affected by a series of inconveniences, including a wedding that left the hotel crowded and difficult to navigate. While we eventually received an upgrade to a larger room, it was still shabby and less than ideal. I was disappointed with the food quality and the chaotic atmosphere, which detracted from any chance of relaxation during the visit.
Rooms
5.0
The room we were upgraded to was a bit larger but still shabby, with visible stains and an unappealing view overlooking the car park.
Service
5.0
The service was hit or miss; while some staff were helpful, communication issues and delays affected our overall experience.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location was not ideal due to the overwhelming presence of wedding guests which impacted parking and accessibility.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a major disappointment, with expensive options that lacked quality and presentation, particularly the room service.
Facilities

The facilities were dated, and the spa experience was hindered by the need to walk outside to access it, which was uncomfortable.

The hotel's grounds are beautiful, providing a lovely atmosphere to relax after treatments, but it's a bit far from main attractions.
Dining

I thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant; the dinner was particularly noteworthy, but breakfast could have had more variety.

The room we stayed in was nice, though the mattress could definitely be upgraded for better comfort. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of options, and the dinner package provided great value. Overall, the staff were friendly, but more smiles would enhance the experience.
